About

When I was 6 years old, my dad set me in front of a TRS-80 Model II and introduced me to the world of BASIC programming. I was immediately hooked, and thus started a lifelong love of learning and understanding how technology at all levels functions.

Fast-forward to early career days as a tech support analyst, I was given an opportunity to develop an inventory tracking system and learned what a SQL was [hint – it isn’t the 2nd movie in a series…] and discovered that data systems, how they are built, maintained, and governed was where I wanted to focus and provide value to the companies I worked with.

Over the past 20 years, I have been blessed to be part of some major transformation projects and built critical skills and developed a pattern of building data governance & data architecture standards along the way.

Most recently, I have spent the last 5 years in ServiceNow Architecture, building solutions for multiple modules and leading data governance and quality initiatives across an enterprise CMDB, ITSM Transformation journey, and implementing the ServiceNow CSDM 4.0 model.

ServiceNow Senior Data Solutions Architect

2021 — Present

Led data governance and architecture for ServiceNow as a Platform for PepsiCo.

Technical Solution Architect for implementation of CSDM 4.0 (Common Services Data Model)

Defined Data Strategy and Governance for onboarding of multiple ServiceNow Modules including APM, DPM, SPM, HRSD, GRC, Safe Workplace, SecOps Incident Management and GBS [Global Business Services]

ServiceNow Data Architect

2018 — 2020

Designed and implemented an overall data strategy and governance for ITSM Transformation to migrate from legacy toolset to an enterprise ServiceNow platform.

Implemented process for data cleansing and conversion for Master Data, CMDB of 4+ Million CIs and Transaction data across ITSM and ITOM products including a Global Discovery model.

Implemented CSDM 2.0 (Common Services Data Model) framework and led knowledge sharing workshops to build understanding of CSDM across the Company.

Designed and implemented a Reporting & Data Warehouse strategy for HP Service Management.

Led multiple data conversion teams across upgrade projects for PepsiCo IT. Directed between 7-9 resources through full agile lifecycle to develop data conversions from various legacy systems into modern ERP solutions for SAP and Oracle Financials.

Drove data modeling, cleansing/matching strategy and performance improvements that led to reduced downtime and quicker turnaround for each project milestone.
